Elevance Health CARES Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity created by associates for associates, supports Elevance Health associates, their families, and communities during emergencies or hardships. We envision a future where all members of the Elevance Health community are thriving.

 

Elevance Health CARES Inc. supports associates, their families, and communities through four core programs:

 

Elevance Health CARES Fund – Provides emergency financial assistance to eligible associates and their spouses or dependents experiencing a qualified disaster or personal hardship.

 

Elevance Health CARES Memorial Scholarship Fund – Supports the post-secondary education of children of associates who pass away during their employment with Elevance Health.

 

Essential Relief Program (ERP) – Provides immediate assistance, including temporary accommodations and basic necessities, to associates whose primary residence is impacted by a qualified natural disaster, house fire, or severe personal crisis.

 

Elevance Health Champions – Empowers associates to raise awareness and support for health-related nonprofits and initiatives that strengthen communities across the country.

 

Together, these programs help associates navigate life's unexpected challenges, invest in brighter futures, and strengthen the communities where we live and work.
